How to Use ABTimers

Start a timer

Tap + at the top left. Type the length into the calculator, using × ÷ + − if it helps (for example 25 × 5), and choose seconds, minutes, or hours. Tap Start.

With nothing typed, Start uses your default timer. To make any timer the default, open it and choose More → Save as Default.

The timer list

Active shows running timers, soonest first, with the time each one finishes and a pie showing how far along it is. Stored holds timers you've saved for later, and Deleted keeps your recently deleted ones.

Pull the list down to re-sort it. Tap a timer to edit it.

Swipe for quick actions

Swipe a timer to the left for Restart, Pause, Put Away (move it to Stored), and Snooze. Swipe all the way to restart it in one move.

Swipe a timer to the right to delete it.

Edit a timer

Tap Remaining or Total to choose which time to change, then use the +/− buttons under the hours, minutes, and seconds. The calculator button next to the name sets the chosen time from a sum.

The buttons below cover the rest: Pause, Restart, Store, Copy & Start, and Copy & Edit As Is. More has Copy, Start & Edit, Store Copy, Save as Default, and Delete. You can also pick the timer's sound and its group.

When a timer finishes

ABTimers sends an alert. Press and hold it (or expand it) to Restart, Snooze, Pause, Put Away, or Delete the timer without opening the app.

If you don't act on it, reminders follow for as long as you choose in Settings.

Stored timers and groups

Put away a timer you use often and it waits in Stored. Tap its green button to start a fresh copy.

On the Groups tab, tap + to make a group and give it a name and an alert sound. Assign a timer to a group in Edit Timer. The menu at the top of Stored shows one group at a time, and ABTimers remembers your choice.

Quiet Times

On the Quiet Times tab, add the hours when you don't want noise, such as overnight, and switch each one on or off. Alerts that land in a quiet time still appear, but silently.

Settings

Choose the list's row height, turn the action sound effects on or off, set how long reminders continue, set the snooze length (and whether it grows each time), and choose how many deleted timers to keep.

Backup Timers and Restore Timers save and restore your timers on this device. Share Timers sends a backup to another device, and Load Backup opens one from Files.
